Installing Auto Ad Manager

Follow the same steps for both new install and upgrade:

1- You need to unzip the zip file to a folder on your PC. You also need to have an FTP program that you can use to upload the files to your web server. Free FTP programs and ZIP file managers can be found on download sites like download.com and tucows.

2- Upload "admgr" folder to your server under ../scripts/plugins/ directory

3- Upload all files in "pages" folder to your web server under ../pages/ directory

4- Login to your CC admin area, and go to plug-in section by clicking the plug-in icon, then click on "Advertisement Manager".

5-  At the top the "current script status" should be "Uninstalled",  click "click to install", the script status should display now "Installed" and below it "Click to Uninstall"

Congratulations! Ad Manager plug-in now installed.


Main Page

Advertisement Manager is a plug-in that lets you have your public advertisement page display and accept dynamic data.

Have your ad packages dynamically generated.
Set prices to cover expenses per single click and let member database affect it.
Set email ad's price per single click and let advertisers custom target the ads for a unique price.

Membership Discounts

This is where you would set up the discount rates for your upgraded members.

You can Add, Edit or Delete Membership Discount Rates for Advertisements
You will have the option later on to apply the discount or not to each ad you are setting up.

General Settings

This is where you decide to apply the discount or not to the redemption page.

Upgraded members discount:  No redemption page discount
                                         Apply discount for redemption page as well.

Default click value:    select the value of each click  either cash or points

Auto-process orders:  select if you want the orders auto-processed or not

Show redemption selection to:  do you want all members to see this redemption or just the members the are eligible for it.

Add revisited link to ads: do you want the members link to show in the ad in case members would like to revisit the site without credit.

Hide PayPal CC if price is:  use this if you want to restrict the amount used for credit card purchases using PayPal.

Take Pages Offline

Advertiser and Redemption pages - usually the setting is online, but if you need to make changes you can select offline and in the
offline message line you can add a message ( ex. adding new items) - no more error 404 messages when you take the page offline.

Payment System IDs

This is where you would add your account id's for members to make their payments depending which option they select

Payment Fees

If you have to pay fees for certain payment processors and would like the members to pay these fees you would add those amounts here.

After all selections are made click save settings and these will be stored for you.

Keyword Manager

This is where you would select keywords that you do not want to show to advertisers.

Mailer Settings

You would set up you mail here.

  1. if you want to send to inbox only
  2. all html tags
  3. solo or shared emails
  4. members for the mail to be sent to
  5. add your email header information
  6. add your email footer information
  7. Save settings

Holiday settings

You can have your emails skip days due to holidays or vacations.

Ad Categories Manager

This is where you would set up your basic type of ads - email ads, PTC,  banner impressions, paid to signup or any special type you have .Pick the
main category and add the sub categories under it - Under PTC you may want to have contest ptc, under the email ads you can put contest ads, etc.

Ads Manager

This is where you set up the different types and pricing

  1. select the type (ex. under PTC- contest ptc)
  2. ex. 1000 x Contest PTC- put this in the description
  3. you would make your selections for this type
  4.  choose fixed price or dynamic price
  5. put the price per click or total for entire ad
  6. cash or points to pay for ad
  7. do you want it to show on the redemption page
  8. if so the price for redemption & cash or points
  9. this is where you would select if the upgraded memberships can use their discounts (they pay the full amount and discount is applied to their accounts)

  10. details of ad -  ad group- for a contest ptc (depending on how you usually set them up) cptc
  11. the value of each click
  12. points or cash
  13. expirations - clicks, date, exposures or never expire
  14. duration, timer, when or if they can click the link again
  15. save changes

 

Package Manager

Here you can set up special packages for sale. They can be mixed ads but not targeted ads- you can have an email, ptc and banner impressions.
The choice is yours to make!

Upgraded Membership Ads

You can set up your upgraded members weekly and monthly ads so they can be auto-processed

  1. first create the different types of upgraded bonuses you have with the ads they receive be sure to check if its weekly bonus or monthly
  2. activate notifications
  3. decide which day you would like the notifications to be sent on - default is Sunday for weekly ads and 1st of month for monthly.
  4. Input a message you would like to send to the upgraded members when the notifications go out.
  5. Set Notifications
  6. Upgraded members ads now can be auto created and processed same way like any other ad, upgraded members page named upgraded.php and can be accessed through this link: www.YOURSITE.com/pages/upgraded.php

Ad Display Manager

If you want the types of ads listed in a specific order you can do this here.

Pre-Targeted Ad Groups Manager

If you want to set up ads for a specific group- ex. US & Canada or by keywords you would select this option and create different groups.
You can offer special prices for these.

Ad Requests

Final step- This will show you the ads waiting for approval. The ad will be displayed you can make your changes - no need to add the revisit link if you already selected this in the general settings. Save changes and this will bring you back to the ad requests. Check the box for the ad you just edited and click:

-  Create & Send: The ad will be automatically created and processed to members.

- Create & Schedule: The ad will be created automatically, and on the next menu you can enter scheduling rules, after done the ad will be automatically sent out according to the scheduling rules you have chosen.

- Create Shared: Id you want to send out a shared ad, check the box for each ad you want to include in his shared email, then click on this button ( Create Shared ), the ad will be automatically created and sent out.

- Create Only: the ad will be automatically created without sending out, ad ID can be found in mass mailer or by doing a search in cc ads manager.

- Edit: Click this button if  you have to make changes on a submitted ad.

- Reject: Click this button if you want to reject an ad for any reason ( example: the ad does not apply to site terms ), clicking this link will open a new window for you to enter your message to the advertiser/member who submitted this ad, can be about the reason why this ad is rejected.
